The edicts of Jebediah are commandments that come from the Last Room, the mysterious penthouse of the ExoGen conference that only Jebediah may ever enter or leave.
The Edicts are distributed amongst Walkers and Avatars, sometimes requiring others' help. Some examples are Jebediah the Red's Edict of speaking to Holly at the moment of her death, and ushering her into the ocean, or Jebediah the Violet's of chaperoning Betty through the early years of ExoGen.
Some are more complex, such as Walkers Jack and Joshua co-ordinating a battle with hostile telepaths in order to break into the ExoGen tower and broadcast a signal to the Empire of the Aquabelt.
